Born and raised in Muncie, Russell graduated from Delta High School. He studied Animation at California Institute of the Arts, Interior Design at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and Hospitality at Ivy Tech in Indianapolis.
His passion for The Neely House and the Thomas Neely story began in 1983 when his friend and historian Michael Mavis took him on a tour of the house. His obsession has stayed with him through a prior ownership and his re-purchase of the home in 2017. With a commitment of ongoing research and restoration, Russell believes the Neely story can continue to be told and experienced as an inspirational look at the way we live, love and gather together around food.

Operations Manager & Co-Owner
Ean is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Social Work with Indiana University at Indianapolis. Ean’s retired from social work and is now a silent partner at Alliance Equestrian Center where he engages in his passion for horses. As restaurants are prone to drama, his social work skills will be highly value the Neely House.”

A Muncie native, Sally went to Delta High School. Her experience includes many upscale dining positions including management positions within the Houston’s and Macaroni Grill restaurant chains. She has published training manuals in the fine dining service tradition. As well she was a vested partner in her own restaurant group of over 24 restaurants. She has worked with celebrity and Master Chefs, and brings this experience to The Neely House as a co- manager and director of catering and event coordination.

The Neely House is humbled to have Nick Kirkpatrick as their sous chef. From coffee shops to country clubs, Nick has more than thirteen years of experience. He is driven by his intense desire to be the best that he can be. He is in a constant quest for knowledge and new ideas. We are very happy to have him as an integral part of the team.
